Camp Toonallook ablution block, 1968

DESCRIPTION

DescriptionSet back in the banksias was the ablution block (destroyed by by bushfire in January 1978). It was a simple structure with septic flush toilets and four showers. Three wash basins were built along the screen wall. The two thousand gallon tank received water, by gravity, through a buried polythene pipe from the boatshed roof. A small electric pump lifted water from the ground tank to the overhead tank.
