Carey Collections is a digital repository which makes material from the physical archive at Carey Baptist Grammar School accessible online. Most material on the site can be used for private research or personal use, but not for commercial use or profit. Material on this platform may also be subject to copyright or other access restrictions. Please use the guidelines below and refer to copyright and access restrictions on individual items, or contact us at archives@carey.com.au with any questions.
Sharing, Copying and Publishing Material
Where there are no known copyright restrictions, material may be shared and copied provided that textual and visual content are not altered and that the Carey Archives are acknowledged.
Where copyright restrictions do apply, material is subject to the provisions of Australian copyright legislation and may not be copied without the written permission of the legal holder of that copyright, except for personal use and study.
Users are responsible for obtaining the copyright holder’s permission for the publication or reproduction of all materials. The archive assumes no responsibility for any copyright infringements on behalf of users.
If you wish to use material for commercial purposes, please contact us at archives@carey.com.au.
High Resolution Copies
Users may request high-resolution copies of archival material for personal use or research and may be required to provide a brief abstract about their project or publication before a request can be answered.
If you would like to request a high-resolution copy of any material on Carey Collections, please contact us at archives@carey.com.au.
Data Accuracy
We are continually working to improve the accuracy and quality of our data. If information is not clear or appears incorrect, please contact us at archives@carey.com.au.
Takedown Notice
When making our archival material available online, Carey Archives are acting in good faith, and to the best of our knowledge, have permission to make archival content available digitally.
If you believe that there is material included in our online archive that should not be used because incorrect permission has been given, or if you see an image of yourself and wish it to be removed from the site, please contact us at archives@carey.com.au. We will investigate and address your concern as quickly as possible.
