Dr. Ian Victor Hansen was a Carey Grammar alumnus and former boarder who maintained a strong connection to the school throughout his life. He served as a dedicated member of the Carey School Council from 1973 to 1980. A man of intellect and service, Dr. Hansen co-authored the book Yours sincerely: G. L. Cramer, Headmaster (1990) alongside his wife, Dorothy Hansen, a librarian. Their work offers valuable insight into the leadership and legacy of one of Carey’s most influential headmasters.
