DescriptionThe architect played around with sketches of a jib and mainsail and finally blue-printed this design for a boatshed (destroyed by bushfire in January 1978). The broad roofing beams were securely pinned onto red-gum posts set in concrete and served as an area for drying sails. Eight wooden kayaks, a fibre-glass two-man kayak and a twelve foot bondwood dinghy were stored away here.Year1970sCreatorCarey Baptist Grammar SchoolTypeBuilding
