DescriptionThe 'Parliament of Youth' was a television program broadcast on Melbourne's HSV-7 during the early 1960s. Airing at 4:30 PM on Sundays, the show featured discussions and debates involving young participants, reflecting the era's interest in youth perspectives. It was part of HSV-7's broader commitment to youth-oriented programming during that period.

Paul Kitchen, Peter Winton and David Morgan, supported by a number of "back-benchers," acquitted themselves well in "The Herald T.V. programme, "Parliament of Youth." Carey opposed the "Government" (Brighton High School), and denied the right to legalise euthanasia. The £25 given by "The Herald" to each participating school has been handed to the World Refugee Appeal. Mr. Vernon Wilcox, M.L.A., attended morning Assembly with Mr. Redding, of "The Herald" and presented the certificates.
