Barbara Noisette
Barbara Noisette was one of the original foundation staff members of Carey Donvale. She joined the Carey staff in 1987, and then transferred from what was then the Prep School out to the newly refurbished Donvale campus in 1989.
In the 14 years that Barbara has been a member of the Donvale staff she has held the position of Lower School Co-ordinator and taught in all levels of the lower school. Barbara has served under three School Principals, Gerard Cramer, Ross Millikan and Phil DeYoung and I am the third Head of Donvale she has worked with, along with the late Don Brown and Helen Telford.
Throughout her time at Carey Barbara was a highly dedicated and hard working staff member who has always been loyal to her pupils and to the School. Her support for the three Heads whom she has worked for and with has been exemplary, as has her dedication to the School in every way.
Barbara's two sons, Andrew and Simon, are past Carey students, having spent their school years at the Kew campus. Barbara leaves us to enjoy her growing family in her retirement, to spend more time with her husband Don, and to enjoy the fruits of many years of dedicated service to the children she has loved teaching so much.
Barbara has also been a member of the Carey Heritage Committee since its inception.
