Barbara Noisette
Barbara Noisette was one of the foundation staff members of Carey Donvale. She joined Carey in 1987 and transferred from the Prep School to the newly refurbished Donvale campus in 1989.
During her 14 years at Donvale, Barbara held the role of Lower School Co-ordinator and taught across all levels of the lower school. She worked under three School Principals—Gerard Cramer, Ross Millikan, and Phil DeYoung—and three Heads of Donvale, including the late Don Brown and Helen Telford.
Barbara was recognised for her dedication, loyalty to her students, and commitment to the School. She provided exemplary support to the Heads she worked with and contributed consistently to the life of Carey.
Her two sons, Andrew and Simon, are past Carey students, having attended the Kew campus. Barbara retired to focus on her family, including spending more time with her husband Don.
Barbara has also been a member of the Carey Heritage Committee since its inception.
