DescriptionFormer Carey Donvale student Nick Ansell (OCG 2012) at the opening of the new Donvale lower playground on 5 June 2017.

Nick Ansell wore the number 2 jersey at Carey 'Firsts' level for six years and was a premiership player. Donvale student Declan, who looked up to Nick as a young footballer, later followed in his footsteps. When the synthetic pitch was opened at Donvale, Nick and Declan returned to the campus, where Nick symbolically handed the number 2 jersey to Declan.

Declan went on to wear the number 2 at 'Firsts' level for four years and, like Nick, became a premiership player.
