The starting point for this work was the students visiting the Centre for Performing Arts to view the different stages of construction. We looked at the variety of geometric shapes within the development. The children collaged coloured square and circle tissue paper onto canvas boards. Due to its translucent nature, the tissue paper created additional shapes and colours when overlapped. When dry, the children revisited the construction site with their collaged canvas boards to draw onto them with wax crayons.
