Statement of significanceBound flight log book maintained by Captain Alexander Edward (“Ted”) Munro, a Carey student (1940py). The log book commences on 8 January 1943 during his service with the Royal Air Force and documents his flying career over four decades.

Munro joined Trans Australia Airlines (TAA) on 1 April 1948 and remained with the airline until his retirement on 30 January 1983. The final entry records his last flight prior to retirement. The volume includes detailed records of flights undertaken, aircraft types flown, routes, and total flying hours.
