Year 6 Charity Day Supports Drought Relief, 2005

DESCRIPTION

DescriptionDuring Term 2 2005, Donvale Year 6 students organised a Charity Day for the whole school. They planned and ran a range of fun activities, including Sponge the Teacher, goal shooting, Pin the Tie on the Teacher, face painting and many other games and attractions.

The event was enthusiastically supported by students and staff, who enjoyed taking part while raising funds for a worthy cause. Money collected from the activities was donated to the Salvation Army's Drought Relief Appeal. In addition, each student was encouraged to bring a grocery item for distribution to families in need.
