DescriptionLarge-scale immersive installation artwork created by students in Years 3 and 4 under the direction of Donvale art teacher Jeanette Jennings. Inspired by the students’ science studies of space, Imaginasia transformed an interior space into an imagined extraterrestrial landscape. Visitors entered through a large silver spaceship constructed by Year 6 students and encountered a darkened environment illuminated by ultraviolet lighting and star-like effects. The installation featured luminous creatures, tie-dyed fabric landscapes and a variety of handmade sculptural elements.
