DESCRIPTION

DescriptionIt was reported in the Carey Chronicle of December 1932, that Carey Baptist
Grammar Preparatory School had presented a successful production of Peter Pan
with an unexpected outcome. 'Wendy’s house was auctioned and the amount
raised from the auction and ticket sales was £47. There were a large number of
photos taken and along with letters were pasted in a portfolio for Sir James Barrie
author of Peter Pan. Staff member Miss Shum hopes to visit him in Scotland next
year and she is going to take the portfolio with her'.
