When Year 7 camps started at Toonallook in 1967, there was no badge. In the early 1970s, Year 7 classes were invited to design a badge for their camp. John Thurman (OCG 1981) won the competition and the badge was copied and manufactured. Every Year 7 student that attends Toonallook is issued their own badge to keep and remember their camp.
The badge is set in a very similar format to the school badge and uses the school's colours: black, gold (yellow) and blue. Depicted n the centre of the badge, is a student in a kayak- one of the import aspects of earlier expeditions for Year 7 students. The motto is also the same as the school's - 'Animo Et Fide' - by courage and faith.
Issued circa 1976.
