Robert Maxwell Harris entered Carey in 1928 and left in 1933. That year in Form VI he was awarded a Special Prize for 'neat and careful work'.
Prior to enlisting in the R.A.A.F on 27 February 1942, he was employed by Noyes Bros.
He was a member of 467 Squadron and lost his life, flying a Lancaster Bomber, in air operations over Germany on 22 May 1944.
He is buried at Venlo, Holland. Age 23.
