Voices of Carey
Voices of Carey is a collection of oral history interviews and speeches that capture the experiences, reflections, and memories of those who have contributed to Carey Baptist Grammar School’s story. Together, they provide a rich and personal perspective on the school’s growth and evolution, highlighting significant events, milestones, and everyday life across different generations.
Many of the interviews were conducted by members of the Carey Heritage Committee, while others were recorded by school historian Helen Penrose during her research for Carey’s Centenary history publication, Torchbearers. This collection preserves voices from across the Carey community, ensuring their stories remain accessible for future students, staff and researchers.
If you have any concerns about the interviews or speeches made available on this site, please contact us.
