Lyall Hall
The most significant development of 1973 was the building of the Dining Hall - opened by and named after Mr. K. A. Lyall, the former Junior School Headmaster. A representative group of School Council members, staff, parents and boys attended the opening of the building on 3rd November.
The completion of the Lyall Hall marked the culmination of months of planning and effort by the Toonallook Development Committee, the builder and the many parents who supported weekend work camps throughout 1973.
The Lyall Hall was built to the imaginative design of Architects, Mr. S. Warmington and Mr. J. Warner, and parents of boys at the School. The Builder was Mr. J. J. Clark of Bairnsdale who worked closely with the Toonallook Development Committee. Many parents have assisted with the painting and decorating of the building.
