Description"Second Term saw an unusual concept. Under the theme "All the World's a Stage", Mr. Nick Panayotis produced excerpts from four plays, all of which are being studied in 11th and 12th Forms. The evening began with the scene from "Hamlet" where Ophelia's madness is revealed, and continued with the sleep-walking scene from "Macbeth". As a direct contrast, two modern plays were then presented. Act 3 of Seymour's "One Day of the Year", and the final section of Miller's "Death of a Salesman". A variety of this nature necessitated considerable adjustment of scenes and posed problems which were overcome in original ways. Students, staff and Ruyton girls are to be congratulated on an interesting and creative production."
