5th Dec 2023 2:48PMThe teacher in this image looks like Mr. Silverwood, or Agwood as some of us called him. 'Ag' is the chemical symbol for silver, so it was a bit of a nerdy science pun. In these same chem labs in 1989, Mr. Smith told us a story of a student who accidentally got a drop of acid in his eye and panicked. Mr. Smith immediately grabbed him by the shoulders and shoved his head into a basin to rinse out his eye!
