Graeme Frederick Burley
Mr. Graeme F. Burley was Business Manager at Strathcona for three years before coming to Carey as the School Bursar in 1967. He was a member of the Bursars' Association of Victoria.
Mr. Burley had experience in youth work for many years and was a council member of the Australian Council of the Boys' Brigade. He was well-known in church circles, and was at one time, Vice-Chairman of the Christian Education Council of the Baptist Union of Victoria.
His interests included archery, model railways and fishing
Due to ill-health he moved into the Manual Arts section of the Junior School. Subsequently he was involved in a wide range of Junior School activities including Assistant Housemaster of Livingstone, Organiser of the Model Aero Club, Quartermaster at Toonallook and Treasurer of the Toonallook Committee.
Mr. Burley died on 1st December 1978 after a lengthy illness.
