Prior to Camp Toonallook, all Form 7 students went to Harrietville. The week away was to help staff become familiar with their new students, to develop geographic and social study knowledge of the area. The saw mills at Porepunkah, tobacco and hop farming were studied. The hydro electric power station was visited at Mt Beauty. Mountain climbing of Mt Feathertop was all included in the week's activity.
