This blazer pocket belonged to a Carey student John Trevor Cleary in 1953. Embroidered with the title ‘Prefect’, it also features ‘S’ for Swimming and ‘XVIII’ for Firsts Football, denoting achievements in both sports. The stripes reflect the colours of Moore House, to which the student belonged. Together, these symbols represent a distinguished record of leadership, athletic excellence and house spirit during the student’s senior year.
