Keith Stilwell Wilson
Leading-Aircraftman Keith Stilwell Wilson was killed in an accident at Deniliquin on 30 December, 1942.
K. S. Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wilson, of Gladysdale, Victoria, was a boarder at Carey from February 1926 to December 1927.
On leaving school he was associated with his father at Tocumwal in wheat growing and sheep farming, which he combined with contract work with the tractor and machinery.
He joined the RAAF at the outbreak of war as A.C.2 (air crew), but grew tired of waiting to be posted and transferred to the ground staff.
After being stationed in Melbourne for some time, he was sent to Deniliquin and was expecting to go north at any moment, when he met his death in an accident on the way to the town from the air field.
He was aged 30 years, and is survived by his wife and a young daughter.
