Eric Stevens House was named after the late Eric Stevens (OCG 1924). An enthusiastic old boy of the school, he was for many years the leading light in the Old Carey Grammarians' Association. He was also a member of the School Council from 1975 to 1980. He was a familiar figure about the school and was regarded with great affection. In memory of his fine service, it was decided to name the house at 20 Wrixon Street 'Eric Stevens House'.

In 2001, Eric Stevens House was converted as a Junior School music suite with two teaching classrooms and several tuition rooms.
