A constitution was drawn up declaring as the Association's aims: "to unite old boys and promote the welfare of the School".
The badge was designed in 1927 and the blazer in 1932: in 1933 the first Old Carey Grammarians Association Handbook was published and a prize fund established, to provide prizes for the School. In 1936 the Scholarship Fund became established as an Old Carey Grammarians' Association responsibility.
