First XI Cricket NZ Tour team, 1992

DESCRIPTION

DescriptionThe First XI cricket season began on 19th January 1992 with a two week tour of New Zealand's North Island by 14 players, the Coach, Mr Ivan Poole, Mr Mick Boyes and Mr David Morgan. The team salvaged a fine win in the last game at the picturesque New Plymouth Boys' High School after four disappointing losses.

However, the establishment of team spirit and an opportunity to prepare for the A.P.S. season ahead was most beneficial.

While cricket was the main reason for our tour, the sightseeing, especially of the thermal regions of Rotorua, and the bungey jumping were highlights of the trip.
