Inscription: In honoured memory and grateful recognition of the services of the late Rev. Leonard E. Tranter through whose inspiration courage and devotion this school was established in 1923. An abiding memorial to his Christian statesmanship, commanding vision and grand daring. This tablet was erected by the Carey Patrons' Association . Unveiled on 19th October 1929.
