Dunshea Family Collection
Description
Collection summary
The Dunshea Family Collection comprises an assortment of documents, photographs, news clippings and ephemera relating to the Dunshea family. Of particular significance is a series of 35mm colour slides taken by Mr. Eric Ernest Dunshea in 1954. These images provide a rare colour record of the school during this period, capturing significant buildings and developments, including Urangeline, Laycock House, and the construction of the Memorial Great Hall. The photographs were generously presented to the School Archives by Graham Dunshea on 29 April 1996. Collectively, the materials offer valuable visual and contextual documentation of the school’s mid-twentieth-century landscape and architectural heritage.
