Founder's Day
Description
Description
Carey Baptist Grammar School opened on 12 February 1923 with an inaugural assembly of 69 boys. This date later became recognised as Founder’s Day, marking the official beginning of the School and honouring the vision of its founders.
Each year, Founder’s Day is celebrated to commemorate Carey’s establishment and to reflect on the School’s founding principles of faith, learning and service. The occasion brings together students, staff and alumni to acknowledge those who laid the foundations of the School and to celebrate its continuing growth and community spirit.
